Sun & Moon Mystery

Der Zauberer zeigt eine Tafel (mit der Form einer Wolke), öffnet sie, nimmt eine Scheibe heraus, die die Sonne (oder, wenn Sie es vorziehen, den Mond) darstellt, und lässt die Tafel in Sichtweite.

Der Zauberer nimmt dann eine Kiste mit zwei Fächern, öffnet die beiden Türen und zeigt sie innen leer. In ein Abteil stellt er die Sonne und schließt die beiden Türen.

Das Publikum wird gebeten, sich daran zu erinnern, wo die Sonne ist. Die Box ist gekippt und die Tür des Fachs, in dem die Sonne stand, wird geöffnet, um zu zeigen, dass sie verschwunden ist!

Das Publikum, das das Geräusch der Sonne hörte, die in das andere Abteil rutschte, wird den Zauberer bitten, die andere Tür zu öffnen. Der Zauberer schließt die erste Tür, kippt die Schachtel erneut und öffnet die Tür des anderen Fachs, um anzuzeigen, dass es leer ist.

Er wiederholt das Ganze, die Sonne mehrmals von einem Abteil zum anderen zu schieben, bis das Publikum darum bittet, beide Türen zu öffnen.

Der Zauberer öffnet sie und zeigt die leeren Fächer: Die Sonne ist wirklich verschwunden!

Schließlich lässt er es über das Cloud-Panel erscheinen, das die ganze Zeit über in voller Sicht auf dem Tisch war.

The magician shows a panel (with the shape of a cloud), opens it, takes out a disk representing the sun (or, if you prefer, the moon) from inside it, and leaves the panel in sight.

The magician then picks up a box with two compartments, he opens the two doors and shows it empty inside. In one compartment he places the sun and closes the two doors.

The audience is asked to remember where the sun is. The box is tilted and the door of the compartment where the sun was is opened, so as to show that it has vanished!

The audience, who heard the sound of the sun sliding into the other compartment, will ask the magician to open the other door. The magician closes the first door, then tilts the box again and opens the door of the other compartment to show that it is empty.

He repeats the gag of sliding the sun from one compartment to another several times, until the audience asks for both doors to be opened.

The magician opens them and shows the empty compartments: the sun has really vanished!

Finally he makes it appear from the cloud panel that was in full view on the table all the time.
