Ein Brett wird gezeigt, das in sechs Fächer unterteilt ist, angeordnet in zwei Reihen: drei oben und drei unten. Der Mentalist kündigt an, dass er in der Lage sein wird, die Gedanken von drei zufällig aus dem Publikum ausgewählten Zuschauern zu lesen.

Der erste Zuschauer wird gebeten, an den Namen eines entfernten Verwandten zu denken. Während er nachdenkt, schreibt der Mentalist etwas in das erste obere Fach des Brettes und deckt es dann mit einer Tafel ab, sodass niemand die Schrift sehen kann. Unmittelbar danach verrät der Zuschauer den Namen laut, der dann in das entsprechende untere Fach geschrieben wird und für das Publikum sichtbar ist.

Der Ton des Gesprächs ändert sich, und ein zweiter Zuschauer wird hinzugezogen und gebeten, an eine Stadt zu denken, in die er gerne in den Urlaub fahren würde. Wie zuvor schreibt der Mentalist seine „Vorhersage“ in das zweite obere Fach, deckt es mit einer Tafel ab und schreibt dann, nachdem er die Antwort gehört hat, den Namen der Stadt in das Feld darunter.

Schließlich kündigt der Mentalist an, dass er den Wert und die Farbe einer Spielkarte aufschreiben wird. Nachdem er dies getan und das dritte obere Fach abgedeckt hat, nähert er sich einem dritten Zuschauer und fordert ihn auf, eine Karte nach dem Zufallsprinzip zu wählen. Die Karte wird dem Publikum gezeigt, und ihr Wert wird in das entsprechende untere Fach geschrieben.

An diesem Punkt entfernt der Mentalist nacheinander die Tafeln, die die oberen Fächer abdecken. Zur Verblüffung des Publikums stimmen die Wörter, die er zuvor aufgeschrieben hat, exakt mit den Antworten der drei Zuschauer überein. Ein Moment reiner Magie, der alle sprachlos zurücklässt und einen Applaus auslöst!

• Das Brett ist sorgfältig aus Holz gefertigt. Mit den in die Fächer eingesetzten Tafeln misst es 33,5 cm (13,18 Zoll) x 26,5 cm (10,43 Zoll) x 2 cm (0,78 Zoll).

A board is shown, divided into six compartments arranged in two rows: three at the top and three at the bottom. The mentalist announces that he will be able to read the minds of three spectators randomly selected from the audience.
The first spectator is invited to think of the name of a distant relative. While they reflect, the mentalist writes something in the first top compartment of the board, then covers it with a panel so that no one can see the writing. Immediately afterward, the spectator reveals the name out loud, which is then written in the corresponding lower compartment, visible to the audience.
The tone of the conversation shifts, and a second spectator is involved, asked to think of a city where they would like to go on vacation. As before, the mentalist writes his “prediction” in the second top compartment, covers it with a panel, and then, after hearing the answer, writes the name of the city in the space below.
Finally, the mentalist announces that he will write the value and suit of a playing card. After doing so and covering the third top compartment, he approaches a third spectator and invites them to choose a card at random. The card is shown to the audience, and its value is written in the corresponding lower compartment.
At this point, the mentalist removes the panels covering the top compartments one by one. To the audience’s amazement, the words he wrote earlier match exactly the answers given by the three spectators. A moment of pure magic that leaves everyone speechless and triggers a round of applause!
